Services in Pakistan
Tax and regulatory compliance
Returns, statements and filings for FBR, the provincial revenue authorities and SECP, each prepared, reviewed and filed with the working papers behind it.
One set of books, several regulators
A business in Pakistan reports to more than one authority. FBR administers income tax, withholding and federal sales tax; PRA, SRB, KPRA and BRA each collect sales tax on services in their own province; and SECP oversees companies. Each has its own returns and its own calendar, and each expects the figures filed to agree with your books.
Our compliance services can be added to any bookkeeping package or taken on their own. Each one covers preparation, review, filing and the supporting working papers, and nothing is filed until you have approved it.

How monthly filing works
Every return passes through the same four stages, and nothing is filed without your approval.
Records
The month's figures are taken from your books, whether we keep them or your own team does, with the documents behind them.
Working papers
The return is prepared with working papers that tie each figure back to the ledger.
Approval
A partner reviews the return, then it comes to you to approve before anything is filed.
Filing and records
We file it and keep the filed copy and working papers on record, where you can reach them through the client portal.
Questions
Can we use your compliance services without a bookkeeping package?
Yes. Every compliance service can be taken on its own. If your own team keeps the books, we prepare each return from your ledger and supporting documents, and raise any differences with you before anything is filed.
Which authority receives our sales tax return?
The authority that holds the registration. Federal sales tax is filed with FBR. Provincial sales tax on services is filed with the authority for the province: PRA in Punjab, SRB in Sindh, KPRA in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or BRA in Balochistan. A business registered with more than one authority files a separate return for each registration every month.
What happens if we receive a notice?
Send it to us through the client portal as soon as it arrives. We prepare a reply with the documents that support it, and file it once you have approved it. If the matter proceeds to a hearing or an appeal, that work is scoped separately.
Do you prepare wealth statements for directors?
Yes. The annual return for an individual or director includes the wealth statement. Separately, the company's return can include a wealth reconciliation of its directors on request, prepared and reviewed alongside the company's own figures.
